Soartec Custom Solution Workflow

Requirement Review
Step 1

Requirement Review

We review your application, target torque/RPM, joint conditions, access limits, and air supply to define the performance targets and key constraints.

Sample and Drawing Preparation
Step 2

Sample and Drawing Preparation

You provide the actual workpiece and fasteners, along with drawings or on-site photos/videos, so we can build an accurate baseline for evaluation and design.

Engineering Design
Step 3

Engineering Design

Our technical team develops a customized concept and prepares reference drawings and configuration proposals for your review.

Approval and Order Placement
Step 4

Approval and Order Placement

Once the drawings and specifications are confirmed, we finalize the scope, issue the quotation, and release the order for production scheduling.

Function Verification
Step 5

Function Verification

We validate the tool performance and provide fastening evidence such as test results and operation videos for your confirmation.

Shipment and After-Sales Support
Step 6

Shipment and After-Sales Support

After final checks, we ship the tool and support you with maintenance guidance, spare parts recommendations, and service assistance as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

To start, we typically need your application details (tool type and use case), target torque range, desired RPM, fastener size/material, joint condition (hard/soft), access constraints (working angle and clearance), available air pressure and any drawings, photos, or videos of the workstation.

Prototype timing depends on design complexity, sample availability, and validation requirements, while production lead time depends on final spec confirmation, order quantity, and component availability; changes to scope, incomplete input data, or additional testing requests can extend both timelines.

MOQ varies by the level of customization (standard-based modifications vs fully customized design) and required tooling, and we recommend a spare parts plan based on duty cycle and expected service interval, with options for starter kits and scheduled replenishment to support long-term uptime.

Torque repeatability is typically defined as the tool’s ability to deliver consistent output across repeated cycles under the same joint conditions, and acceptance criteria are agreed during the requirement review based on your joint type, measurement method, sampling plan, and allowable tolerance range.

If air pressure or flow is insufficient, we’ll recommend corrective actions such as proper hose ID, shorter hose runs, regulator and filter maintenance, adding a dryer, or improving compressor capacity, and we can also tune the tool configuration to reduce sensitivity to pressure drop where feasible.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects and normal-use failures within the defined warranty terms, while consumables typically include wear items affected by duty cycle and maintenance conditions (for example vanes, seals, O-rings, and mufflers), and exclusions generally apply to misuse, poor lubrication, contaminated air, or operation beyond rated pressure.
